Arcadia’s founding partners were brought together by a single purpose: to create walkable neighborhoods in harmony with nature. Inspired by great old towns like Annapolis, Santa Fe, and West Chester and great new towns like Seaside, Celebration, and Kentlands, Arcadia develops “smart” communities in cities, suburbs and rural settings.

Arcadia is a land development company, not a homebuilder. As such, our focus is on the many elements that make neighborhoods attractive and livable – a coherent architectural character, high quality parks and open space, the provision of community amenities, and the design of streets that promote pedestrian comfort and safety. Since we do not build homes, we market homesites to a select group of reputable builders who, in turn, construct and sell homes to the public.
